The roots contain: sesquiterpene lactones, triterpenes, phenolic acids cinnamic acid derivatives and polysaccharides such as inulin. The Dandelion root is traditionally considered choleretic and cholagogue (increases bile production and disposal). The plant is regarded as purifying and mild laxative. The laxative effect is manifested after 24 hours of its administration, contact with water the mucilage forms a viscous gel, which promotes peristalsis.
Recommended dosage: 2 capsules per day. Employment: Take 1 capsule at each food time.
